Special bus service to the festival grounds
The Hildesheim municipal transport utility will arrange a special bus service on the festival weekend from Hildesheim Railway Station to the festival grounds. The SVHI provides a shuttle bus between Central Station and the airfield. The buses already start shuttling from midday on Friday.
During the festival, Lines 1 and 101 provide a connection from the festival grounds towards the city centre. The bus stop at Ehrlicherstraße can be reached on foot from the festival grounds. The buses begin their service already on Friday morning.
It is worth taking the train! You can get to the M´era Luna Festival cheaply and comfortably with the Niedersachsen-Ticket or the Schönes-Wochenende-Ticket.
Just travel to Hildesheim Central Station. From there it takes only ca. 30 minutes to the festival. Bus route 17 will take you directly to the airfield and thus to the festival grounds. Please also note the signs.

1 person: 23 €
2 persons: 27 €
3 persons: 31 €
4 persons: 35 €
5 persons: 39 €
The ticket is valid for 2nd Class.
Line 17 will take you from Hildesheim Central Station directly to the gates of the M’era Luna Festival. Please note that the Niedersachsen-Ticket is not valid on the bus. You will need to purchase a bus ticket (single journey: 2.45€).
Valid Saturday or Sunday from midnight until 3 a.m. on the following day in all local trains throughout the country. With the Schönes-Wochenende-Ticket you can travel 2nd Class throughout all of Germany. The costs are structured as follows:

2 persons: 44 €
3 persons: 48 €
4 persons: 52 €
5 persons: 56 €
The Schönes-Wochenende-Ticket is valid in all DB local trains (S-Bahn, RB, IRE, RE) and in many commuter networks. You will need to purchase a bus ticket (single journey: 2.45€).
If you plan to come by car, form car pools. The fewer cars we have to direct, the quicker the traffic management. And it’s much more fun with four people in a car than with only two, never mind alone. Please have your admission tickets ready, to avoid delays. It looks silly if you have to search in your trunk for your ticket!

GETTING A LIFT
Once again this year we offer you an alternative, allowing you to leave your car at home! With the help of our car-sharing exchange, which can be found on our festival website, you can form cheap and environmentally-friendly car pools. The car-sharing exchange can be found here!
The car-sharing exchange can be found here >>
The German Road Traffic Act (StVO) applies on the entire festival grounds.
Parking spaces will be allocated, please follow the instructions of Security at all times. In the interests of all visitors, it is important to leave the access roads as quickly as possible. Parking and camping are separate. This allows us to improve the sanitary conditions for all visitors. Please note that you must carry your luggage. We shall try to keep the distances as short as possible.
Please note that the car parks are not supervised.
Warning: The police will be rigorous in removing cars from Hottelner Weg! So don’t even try to park your car there!
A bus stop / taxi stand / collection point will be set up at 'Am Flugplatz 4'. You can be dropped off there without disrupting traffic, and you are then really close to the festival grounds.
No types of trailers that are attached behind a car are allowed on the campsite (not even temporarily) and must be parked in the car park.
IF YOU HAVE A BREAKDOWN
In the event of a breakdown please first contact the traffic management service. At certain times, quick breakdown help can be arranged on-site in cooperation with the ADAC, subject to a charge. To make it easier to find your broken-down car in the dark, please switch on the hazard lights of your car or a neighbouring vehicle.
Motorbike riders may use the caravan spaces (i.e. may park their bike next to their tent), but must also present proof of camper reservation.
